31 December 2024

The seven-volume “Labour Relations Officer’s Handbook” series, is published in the context of the “Development Pillars” project, within the framework of the Cohesion Policy Programme “THALIA 2021-2027”, co-funded by the European Union.

Through its actions, the project aims to support ΟΕΒ, as a social partner, to develop its capacity for social dialogue, training, employment, and social policy. Limited information exists in the English language regarding Cypriot labour or the customary framework governing industrial relations. Where such information exists, it is often limited in scope and coverage. The lack of reliable information in English makes it harder for social partners, employer organisations and trade unions, to fulfil their mission. This series will considerably help in addressing the information gap that exists for non- Greek speakers and assist social partners offer responsible information and guidance on the whole spectrum of industrial relations.
